Successful candidates are 23 years or older, have a current commercial driver’s license (CDL), more than 2 year of professional truck-driving experience, and a good record. In addition to regular company benefits, we offer home time and bonuses for good driving and performance records. And because we cover most of the East coast, the entire south and northern Mexico, many of our drivers earn more by logging a substantial number of miles.
Customs and Transportation Manager
Position entails to assist the corporation understand national and international trade requirements related to transportation and customs services and align their trade function with business objectives. Coordinate and monitor import/export compliance with US and Mexico international trade customs and other government agency laws and regulations. Maintain close liaison with company personnel and pertinent areas in the accounting and operation department. Assist in developing and maintaining policies and procedures supporting compliance with import and export laws and regulations. Participate in the development and execution of business process improvement efforts for the transportation and logistics services. Identifies areas of needed organizational change and/or improvement, provides expert analysis, and help to implement in order to improve overall sales. Applicant must have experience in Mexico and U.S. customs procedures, customs brokerage, Mexico and U.S. transportation services, logistics services (non-asset freight brokerage), international trade agreements and international regulations. Applicant will be required to travel for unexpected periods of time between U.S. and Mexico’s branch offices.
Minimum job requirements: U.S. Bachelor’s Degree or a Foreign Equivalent Degree in International Commerce/Foreign Trade is REQUIRED and 20 months’ experience in Transportation, Logistics and Trade.
